I exist only because inside of me and above all else I am only and above all a Neapolitan. Naples exists inside of me, and always will. Fortunately for me there is this treasure that I have inside of me and, when I need it, then I pull it out.

Sometimes, you just have to keep it simple. It’s been awhile since I visited Napoli – or Naples if you prefer, and the most natural thing to do was, what else – shooting.
As Henri Cartier – Bresson said, “To photograph: it is to put on the same line of sight the head, the eye and the heart.” It’s never about settings, or fancy cameras, gadgets and techie gearsets. Thinking as well, should be done before and after, not during photographing.
So, just a camera and a bunch of B&W images, keeping it simple includes the absence of colour – that’s quite a “back to basics” recipe.
Who knows, I might do it again one day.
